Haley Bennett Parents: Meet Leilani Dorsey Bennett, Ronald Keeling

Haley Bennett is an American actress and singer. She is the daughter of  Leilani Dorsey Bennett and Ronald Keeling. Haley Bennett was born Haley Loraine Keeling on January 7, 1988, in Fort Myers, Florida.

Her parents, Leilani and Ronald Keeling met in church and hitchhiked to Florida while she was pregnant.

Haley Bennett grew up in Naples, Florida. When she was six years old, her parents divorced, and she moved to Ohio with her father, who opened an automobile repair shop there.

They moved around the state on a regular basis, with Bennett later stating, “I had never lived anywhere for more than two years. I was always an outcast in social situations. Maybe I didn’t care what other people thought because I was thinking, ‘Well, I probably won’t be here for long.’”

Haley Bennett and her father moved to Stow, Ohio, when she was 10 years old, and she attended Stow-Munroe Falls High School. She enrolled in Barbizon Modeling School in Akron, Ohio, when she was 13 years old.

She also spent time in Naples with her mother, where she attended Barron G. Collier High School and studied music and acting. She began using her mother’s maiden name as her stage name
